Brand guidelines and press materials

This page provides event organisers, sponsors, communications partners and the media with official logos, press photographs and introductory texts for Pannon Cigányzenekar, known internationally as the Hungarian Royal Gypsy Orchestra.

Please always use the current materials published here when presenting the orchestra and follow the guidelines below.

Logo and orchestra name

The official logo may be used in ivory or black with a transparent background. Choose the ivory version for dark backgrounds and the black version for light backgrounds. Always use files supplied by the orchestra.

The logo may only be resized proportionally. It must not be distorted, cropped, redrawn or enhanced with effects. Any change of colour requires prior written approval from Baranyai Lajos. Leave sufficient clear space around the logo and ensure that all its details remain clearly visible.

The orchestra name within the logo must remain unchanged. Please contact us in advance before using a separate prominent graphic wordmark. In running text, use the official names Pannon Cigányzenekar or Hungarian Royal Gypsy Orchestra.

Official photographs

Only the group photographs currently offered for download on this page may be used to represent the orchestra in promotional materials. Please follow the usage conditions supplied with each photograph and include the required photographer credit.

Adding or removing people, substantial retouching, recolouring and AI image expansion require separate approval. Use only approved image crops.

Conditions of use

The materials may be used to promote the orchestra’s performances, introduce the orchestra and support related press coverage, subject to the conditions specified for each file. Please contact us in advance for other uses or adaptations.

Organiser and sponsor logos must not touch the orchestra logo or be combined with it to create a new joint emblem. Downloading the logo does not in itself establish sponsor or partner status.

Approval before publication

Completed posters, invitations, flyers, advertisements, social media graphics and other materials promoting the orchestra must be submitted to Baranyai Lajos for final approval before publication or production.

Only the version he has approved in writing may be published or produced. Using official files does not replace this approval. A lack of response must not be treated as permission.

Please send the complete finished design, stating where it will be used and the intended publication date. Changes to content or design made after approval must be submitted again.

This approval requirement applies to promotional materials, not to the content of independent editorial reporting. The usage conditions for supplied photographs and logos also apply to press publications.
