Violin
Pannon Portrait
An experienced first violinist who has performed with several major orchestras. Together with her husband, János Bujka, she continues their shared musical journey as a member of the Pannon Cigányzenekar.
Career
She is a violinist who, after completing her college-level music studies, gained extensive experience as a first violinist in several major orchestras. Hungarian Gypsy music and ensemble playing have remained defining elements of her artistic career.
Her musical journey is closely intertwined with that of her husband, clarinet and tárogató player János Bujka. Both performed with the 100-Member Gypsy Orchestra, where shared concerts and international appearances became part of their artistic lives. Today, this musical partnership continues in the Pannon Cigányzenekar: Alíz as a first violinist and her husband as a clarinet and tárogató player.
Vámosi Alíz is currently a dedicated and experienced member of the Pannon Cigányzenekar. Her playing combines many years of orchestral experience with a deep connection to the tradition of Hungarian Gypsy music.
With the Pannon Orchestra
Vámosi Alíz is a dedicated member of the Pannon Cigányzenekar, where she plays first violin. A special personal connection is that she and her husband, János Bujka, continue to perform together in the same orchestra, carrying forward a musical journey they have shared for many years.
Something Few People Know About Me
My husband, János Bujka, and I have shared not only our lives but also our music for many years. We previously performed together in the 100-Member Gypsy Orchestra, and today we continue our shared musical journey in the Pannon Cigányzenekar.
